Jackass Number Two :: Music From The Motion Picture (2006)

Jackass Number Two es la secuela de la comedia Jackass: The Movie (2002). Ambas están basadas en la exitosa serie de MTV. Jimmy Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Chris Pontius, Steve O y el resto del elenco vuelven a las andadas, perfeccionando cada vez más su mal gusto y su pasión por hacerse daño.

Underworld Evolution Original Soundtrack (2006)

La secuela de la eterna batalla entre vampiros y licántropos, también tiene una música acorde a las características de la película. Combina varias bandas "emo" con bandas de metal, logrando un cierto balance sonoro. Incluye un track original de Puscifer, y también el primer track solista de Chester Bennington, voz líder de la "icónica" banda de nu metal Linkin Park. A Tribute To The Ramones :: We're A Happy Family (2003)

It was inevitable that a glut of Ramones tribute albums would follow the passing of Joey and Dee Dee Ramone. The 17-song-strong We're a Happy Family thankfully escapes the dubious tribute-album ghetto. It's no surprise that Ramones descendents like Green Day, Rancid, and the Offspring stick close to the tired and true, while headbanger James Hetfield makes "53rd & 3rd" sound like a Metallica song. But the standouts on the disc are the efforts where artists go off the rails. Pete Yorn turns in a yearning version of "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend," while Tom Waits goes the ghoulish route on "The Return of Jackie and Judy." Kiss get the best-in-show nod for their anthemic "Do You Remember Rock & Roll Radio," which is odd given that the Ramones were formed ostensibly as a reaction against arena rockers like Kiss. Don't miss the final hidden track, a scary gem by the Chili Peppers' John Frusciante.

Roadrunner United fue un proyecto organizado por el sello discográfico Roadrunner Records con el motivo del festejo de su 25to aniversario. Varios de sus mejores y más reconocidos músicos fueron reunidos para componer un álbum que fue titulado The All-Star Sessions, compuesto por 18 temas de variados géneros, desde Heavy, pasando por Thrash, Nü, hasta Death y Black Metal.

Cuatro “capitanes” fueron elegidos para liderar a los más de 50 artistas de 45 bandas que formaron o forman parte de Roadrunner y para producir cada una de las canciones: Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Matt Heafy (Trivium), Rob Flynn (Machine Head) y Dino Cazares (ex –Fear Factory, Asesino).

A Call To Irons es un tributo a la banda de heavy metal Iron Maiden editado el 5 de mayo de 1998. Al año siguiente se editó el Vol. 2, presentando a otros artistas. Ambos son bastante criticados por los fans de Maiden, sin embargo muchos rescatan las versiones de Steel Prophet, Solitude Æturnus y Opeth, mientras que las versiones de Morgion y Opera IX son consideradas absolutos desastres.
Es un post para coleccionistas, lo escuchan y después me cuentan...
