Nightwish :: Eva (2007) [Cd Single]

Finalmente los misterios acerca de la nueva voz de Nightwish comienzan a develarse. Ya está a la venta bajo el sello Nuclear Blast el nuevo single de la banda que lleva por título Eva, y presenta a la nueva vocalista: Anette Olzon. Nació el 21 de Junio de 1971 en Suecia. Su banda más importante antes de Nightwish ha sido Alyson Avenue, en la que era la voz líder, con la que ha editado dos albumes desde el 2000. Además ha cantado en coros, ha sido cantante de bodas y ha participado en algunos proyectos de estudio como sesionista.
Me pregunto si daba para hacer tanto misterio... No es fácil sustituir a la gran Tarja, no creen?

The Gathering es una banda holandesa formada en 1989 por los hermanos Hans y René Rutten. Inicialmente su estilo fue gothic / doom metal, pero actualmente se autodenominan "trip-rock". Roadrunner United fue un proyecto organizado por el sello discográfico Roadrunner Records con el motivo del festejo de su 25to aniversario. Varios de sus mejores y más reconocidos músicos fueron reunidos para componer un álbum que fue titulado The All-Star Sessions, compuesto por 18 temas de variados géneros, desde Heavy, pasando por Thrash, Nü, hasta Death y Black Metal.

Cuatro “capitanes” fueron elegidos para liderar a los más de 50 artistas de 45 bandas que formaron o forman parte de Roadrunner y para producir cada una de las canciones: Joey Jordison (Slipknot), Matt Heafy (Trivium), Rob Flynn (Machine Head) y Dino Cazares (ex –Fear Factory, Asesino).

El título del álbum es una referencia a varios puntos bajos en la vida de Phil Anselmo y el resto de la banda, incluyendo la tragedia del huracán Katrina en el 2004 y la muerte de Dimebag Darrel.

Mortification es una banda australiana de metal cristiano formada en 1990 de las cenizas del grupo Lightforce. No tiene un estilo de música particular ya que han experimentado con muchos estilos, entre ellos el death metal, thrash metal, power metal. Han sido una de las primeras bandas de metal cristianas extremas.
Scrolls of the Megilloth es su tercer album, editado en 1992. Fue grabado en Toybox Studios en Melbourne (Australia) y fue producido por Doug Sandres y la banda.
