The band has labeled their style "Saravá Metal". Created with the intention to open a "Ratos de Porão" show, the band makes a mix of metal and hardcore with some thrash riffs and comical lyrics treating about Macumba (an Afro-Brazilian religion). Saravá Metal roughly translates to "Voodoo Metal".

Wendy O. Williams :: Kommander Of Kaos (1986)

Uma das figuras mais selvagens e cultuadas do Rock, Wendy Orlean Williams começou sua carreira nos clubes de Strip-tease de Nova York, protagonizando alguns filmes pornôs em 1979, quando decide se iniciar sua carreira musical com a banda The Plasmatics, que tinha um direcionamento variando entre o Punk Rock e o Hard Rock. Com uma boa base de fãs e de grande reputação, a banda logo se torna uma das mais cultuadas da cena. Mas isso não impede que Wendy parta para a carreira solo em 1982, com o álbum "Coup d'Etat", contando com uma singela ajuda de alguns integrantes do KISS. Dentre os álbuns lançados por ela, "Kommander Of Kaos" foi o de maior impacto. Depois de 1988, Wendy, por algum motivo, decide amenizar sua carreira, tentando se livrar da imagem de "Bad Girl", consolidando-se numa carreira mais voltada ao Pop. Então depois de anos longe do show bizz, lamentavelmente ela se suicida em 1998, terminando sua carreira de forma trágica, mas deixando seu legado no Rock. Aqui vão alguns dos mais relevantes álbuns de sua carreira, incluindo de sua fase com o Plasmatics.

Pasaron 11 años desde el álbum Roots de Sepultura, para que los hermanos Max e Igor Cavalera volvieran a grabar juntos en un estudio musical.

Cavalera Conspiracy se formó en el año 2007 bajo el nombre de Inflikted, pero debido a custiones legales tuvieron que cambiarselo. Max indicó que la música es similar al "antiguo" Sepultura aunque con una fuerte influencia del Hardcore. Quienes acompañan en este proyecto son Marc Rizzo, guitarrista de Soulfly y Joe Duplantier de Gojira.

Inflikted es su primer trabajo realizado en Julio de 2007, y editado el 25 de Marzo de 2008 bajo el sello Roadrunner Records. Esta es la versión retail, a 320 kbps. Le agrego los bonus tracks a 128 kbps.

Maroon es una banda de metalcore nacida en Nordhausen (Alemania) en 1998. Su sonido posee grandes influencias del hardcore de mediados de los 90s, representado en bandas como Earth Crisis, Morning Again y Loxiran. También recogen influencias de grupos de metal como At The Gates, Sepultura y Slayer.
Su cuarto album When Worlds Collide fue editado el 18 de Abril de 2006 a través de Century Media, y es el primero lanzado a través de este sello. Marca un regreso a las raíces, que habían sido dejadas un poco de lado en su disco anterior.

Absurdity :: Urban Strife EP (2007)

Absurdity es una banda emergente de la escena francesa, formada en la ciudad de Estrasburgo a fines de 2001. Desde entonces, fueron evolucionando partiendo de un sonido más influenciado por el death / thrash metal hacia un estilo más orientado hacia el death metal / hardcore, incorporando samples, aunque sin caer en el "clásico" deathcore norteamericano.

En 2003 presentaron su primer demo, Decline Of The Human Condition, y luego de algunos cambios de formación editaron el presente MCD, Urban Strife, en Setiembre de 2007. Su música es agresiva, oscura, potente y variada. Vale la pena prestarles atención.

Pro-Pain es una banda norteamericana de heavy metal. Originalmente tocaban hardcore/punk pero luego adquirieron influencias del groove metal y del thrash. Su trabajo 2007 se titula Age of Tyranny - The Tenth Crusade.
