Lamb Of God es una banda de groove metal / metalcore formada en 1991 en Richmond, Virginia (Estados Unidos). La temática de sus letras tiene que ver con religión, sociedad, dolor, depresión, política, herejía así como otros temas a veces personales de los integrantes. El 6 de setiembre de 2002, editaron su album debut, New American Gospel, bajo el sello Prosthetic Records.
Sacrament es el cuarto album del grupo. Fue editado el 22 de agosto de 2006 por Epic Records, debutando en la octava posición del ranking de Billboard.

Soulfly es una banda de groove metal formada en 1997 por el brasileño Max Cavalera luego de su decisión de abandonar Sepultura debido a diferencias personales. El sonido de la banda incorpora elementos de thrash metal, nu metal, así como rítmos propios de Brasil y e influencias de world music.
Primitive, editado el 26 de setiembre de 2000, es el segundo album de la banda, y fue recibido con duras críticas por los fans de Max Cavalera. Fue grabado en Saltmine Studio Oasis en Arizona. Fue producido por Toby Wright, y co-producido y masterizado por Max Cavalera.

Pantera :: Vulgar Display Of Power (1992)

Pantera es una banda de heavy metal procedente de Dallas, Texas (Estados Unidos), formada en 1981 por el guitarrista Dimebag Darrel Abbott, su hermano el baterista Vinnie Paul Abbott y el bajista Rex "Rocker" Brown.
Influenciados por bandas clásicas del thrash metal como Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica y Anthrax, fueron pioneros del groove metal (post-thrash), un sub-género del heavy metal.
Sus cuatro primeros albumes fueron editados por sellos independientes y no tuvieron éxito comercial. Los tres primeros (Metal Magic -1981-, Projects In The Jungle -1984- y I Am The Night -1985-) con Terry Glaze en voz tenían una gran orientación hacia el hard rock/glam metal.
El ingreso de Phil Anselmo en la voz coincide con un cambio del sonido de la banda. En 1988 editan su album Power Metal,el último de manera independiente. Pasaron 9 años para que obtuvieran su primer gran éxito comercial con su album debut en los sellos mayores: Cowboys From Hell (1990). Desde entonces son considerados una de las bandas más importantes de la historia del heavy metal. Su disolución se produjo en 2003 por conflictos internos, y el 8 de diciembre de 2004 el guitarrista Dimebag Darrel fue asesinado mientras realizaba un concierto en Ohio con su nueva banda Damageplan.
El album Vulgar Display Of Power, editado el 25 de febrero de 1992, es el siguiente a su debut oficial Cowboys From Hell. Probablemente sea uno de los albumes más importantes de la historia del metal. Fue grabado, mezclado y producido por Terry Date, y masterizado por Howie Weinberg. La producción estuvo a cargo de Pantera. El diseño es de Larry Freemantle y la fotografía es de Brad Guice.

Rob Zombie :: Hellbilly Deluxe (1998)

Rob Zombie nació el 12 de enero de 1965 en Haverhill, Massachusetts. Su verdadero nombre es Robert Cummings. Su estilo vocal y su fascinación por las películas clase B lo ayudaron a convertirse en un ícono del heavy metal norteamericano. Además de músico es director de cine de horror, realizando House of 1000 corpses (2003), su secuela The devil's rejects (2005) y El Superbeasto (2006). También es el director de Halloween 9 cuyo estreno se espera para el presente año.
En 1985 formó el grupo de metal industrial White Zombie y en 1998 inició su etapa solista con el album Hellbilly Deluxe, incluído link a bitrate variable, full covers.

Anthrax :: Attack of the Killer B's (1991)

Attack of the Killer B's es el nombre de un álbum de B-Sides, covers y rarezas de Anthrax. Es un trabajo lleno de humor considerado como una especie de "broma" y "poco original" por sus propios autores.

Entre sus temas se incluye el clásico Bring the Noise (realizado en colaboración con la banda de Hip-Hop Public Enemy) que es técnicamente el primer tema de Rap Metal de la historia y gran influenciador para la creación de géneros como el Rapcore o el Nu Metal.

La canción Startin' Up a Posse es una crítica irónica contra un movimiento conservador que buscaba censurar el Heavy Metal en Estados Unidos por los mensajes que transmitía a la gente. Aunque no pudieron lograr su cometido, finalmente se crearon los denominados stickers de "Parental Advisory".

N.F.B. es la abreviación de No Fucking Ballad, pero si leemos al revés Dallabnikufesin, descrubriremos que dice "Nise Fukin Ballad".

A pesar de contener 12 canciones, el álbum en realidad es un EP (el EP más largo de la historia segun sus integrantes) ya que el sello discográfico que los producía no tenía mucho interés en publicarlo y por ende su precio en el mercado debía ser menor al de un LP.
