Cradle Of Filth :: Cruelty And The Beast (1998) [Special Limited Edition]

Cradle Of Filth es una banda inglesa de symphonic black metal, dark metal y gothic metal, formada por Daniel LLoyd Davey, alias Dani Filth, en 1991. Hay más información en el post que incluye el album Thornography (2006).
El album Cruelty And The Beast, es el tercero en la carrera de la banda, y fue editado el 5 de Mayo de 1998. Se grabó entre Enero y Marzo de ese mismo año, y fue producido por Jan Peter Genkel y Cradle Of Filth.
Es un album conceptual, basado en la leyenda húngara de la Condesa Sangrienta, Elizabeth Báthory. Cuenta con la narración de Ingrid Pitt en el rol de la condesa, papel que ya había interpretado en el film Countess Dracula (1971).

Bueno pues respondiendo a una peticion aqui os dejo el relanzamiento del nymphetamine con el cd extra con curiosidades, personalmente considero ésta una obra menor de los COF, unico que sacaron con una multinacional y que iba a ser "un gran exito mundial" (sic), y que por excesivas concesiones al mainstream se quedo en... nada. Cradle Of Filth :: Thornography (2006)

Cradle Of Filth es una banda inglesa de symphonic black metal, dark metal y gothic metal, formada por Daniel LLoyd Davey, alias Dani Filth, en 1991. Editaron su album debut The Principle of Evil Made Flesh en 1994, y con varios cambios de formación y bastantes cambios en su sonido original, han editado una intensa discografía.
Thornography fue editado en octubre 2006, con el siguiente line-up: Dani Filth (voz), Paul Allender (guitarra), Charles Hedger (guitarra), Dave Pybus (bajo) y Adrian Erlandsson (batería). Respecto a la dirección musical de este album, Dani Filth aseguró en la revista Revolver: "No digo que sea experimental, pero definitivamente estamos probando los límites de lo que podemos hacer..."

Bitter Suites to Succubi (2001) es un EP de Cradle Of Filth editado en 2001 por Abracadabra. Fue producido por Doug Cook. Dani Filth ha dicho que es un "mini album transitorio"mientras la banda negociaba su pasaje a Sony. El Ep presentó solo 6 nuevos temas, dos de los cuales son instrumentales, sin embargo se ve reforzado por contar con tres re-grabaciones del album The Principle Of Evil Made Flesh (1994) y un cover de Sisters Of Mercy.
