Paths Of Possession :: Promises in Blood (2005)

Paths of Possession es una banda de death metal con cierto ambiente melódico. Fue creada en 1999 por Randy Butman, Jay Fossen y Richard Brunelle (ex-Morbid Angel). El sonido de la banda se constituyo como una sólida mezcla de heavy metal tradicional con fuertes influencias del deth metal melodico sueco. En el 2004 se les unió George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher (vocalista de Cannibal Corpse ).

El disco Promises in Blood, se editó el 4 de octubre de 2005 y es el segundo album de estudio de la banda. Fue masterizado por Alan Douches, que trabajó en grandes proyectos como Nile, Sepultura, Hatebreed, Clutch, Unearth, The Misfits, Mastodon, Shadows Fall, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, and Earth Crisis.
