Bloodstained Endurance es el sexto álbum de la banda noruega Trail Of Tears, marcado por importantísimos cambios en la formación, ya que el resto de los miembros abandonaron a Ronny Thorsen en 2006, forzandolo a armar una banda nueva. Un punto a favor es el regreso de la soprano Cathrine Paulsen cuyo trabajo en este disco es maravilloso.

Ya con su EP “Legend” llamaron la atención de todos por la fantástica combinación de música extrema, con partes muy heavys y la típica ambientación blacker, y muchos nos llevamos el gran susto al surgir la noticia de que se separaban, pero tras pasar unos meses ABIGAIL WILLIAMS informarón del fichaje con Candlelight Records y nos adelantan que estaban grabando su debut “In The Shadow Of A Thousand Suns” y con James Murphy (Obituary, Death, Testament) como productor.

"Abigail Williams" El nombre de la banda proviene de una niña del mismo nombre, que desempeñó un papel importante en Los Juicios de la Bruja Salem de 1692 y fue descrito como uno de los principales personajes de la obra El Crucible de Arthur Miller.
