L'Ame Immortelle es un grupo de electrogoth austríaco formado en 1996. El nombre de la banda significa "El alma Inmortal". Sus integrantes son: Thomas Rainer y Sonja Kraushofer (Voces), Ashley Dayour(Guitarra), Francis (bajo), Martin Parzer (teclados) y Markus Adamir (batería y percusión). Hay más información en un post anterior en el que encontrarán también el album B-Sides (2006).
El album Dann Habe Ich Umsonst Gelebt fue editado en 2001 en Europa y en 2004 en Estados Unidos. Este disco les dió gran popularidad y es considerado en algunos artículos que leí en la web como una "obra maestra" de la música gótica/darkwave.

Dargaard es una interesante banda neoclásica formada en 1997 por Thaern (Abigor, Amestigon, Heidenreich, Dominion III) con el fin de salir del género black metal, y experimentar con diferentes formas de expresarse. En 1998 ingresó Elisabeth Toriser (Abigor, Antichrisis, Dominion), quién asumió la responsabilidad sobre las melodías vocales. Entre ambos, logran un sonido es particular, sombrío, oscuro, orquestal e innovador en el género sobre todo por sus melodías orientadas al folk, construidas en base a sonidos de teclados.
The Dissolution Of Eternity es su tercer album, editado en 2001 a través de Napalm Records.

A World In Their Screams es el séptimo album de Elend, y el último de la trilogía The Winds Cycle. Fue grabado a fines de 2005 y su puesta en venta fue demorada por problemas en la mezcla de las orquestaciones y con el sello discográfico. Finalmente fue editado el 23 de Abril de 2007 bajo Holy Records. En Junio de ese mismo año, en una entrevista realizada a Iskander Hasnawi, anunció el fin de la banda debido a los altos costos y las dificultades aparejadas a la grabación de la propuesta orquestal de Elend, lo que hacía imposible la continuidad de la banda.
