Tarja Turunen :: Henkäys Ikuisuudesta (2006)

Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen Cabuli nació el 17 de agosto de 1977 en Kitee, Finlandia. Es conocida por haber sido hasta fines de 2005 la voz líder de la banda de power metal sinfónico Nightwish. Actualmente se dedica a su carrera solista. Está casada desde principios de 2003 con el empresario argentino Marcelo Cabuli, que también es su manager.
Henkäys Ikuisuudesta es su primer album solista a pesar de no ser un "album" solista propiamente dicho sino que es un album navideño. Fue editado el 8 de noviembre de 2006 por Universal Music, y fue producido por Esa Nieminen.

Tarja Turunen, ex voz de Nightwish, ha comenzado a promocionar su primer album solista lanzando en un primer lugar el track "I Walk Alone", que posteamos en su oportunidad. Creo que todos estabamos un poco atemorizados de cómo sonaría, luego de haber escuchado su album navideño, Henkäys Ikuisuudesta (2006), tan alejado del sonido al que nos tenía acostumbrados. Ahora les dejo su nuevo EP I Walk Alone, que incluye 3 versiones de dicho track y 2 temas nuevos: un thrash operístico sorprendente, "Ciaran's Well" , y la bella balada "The Reign".

No me esperaba demasiado, pero por ahora el album va por muy buen camino. Que Tarja siga caminando sola, que lo que hace me gusta más que el nuevo de Nightwish!! Espero comentarios.
