M-16 es el décimo trabajo de estudio de Sodom, banda considerada como una de las tres más grandes e importantes del Thrash alemán junto con Destruction y Kreator. Fue editado por el sello Steamhammer en Octubre de 2001.

Es un disco conceptual acerca de la Guerra de Vietnam y fue llamado de esa manera por el rifle que usaron los soldados estadounidenses durante dicha guerra. En cuanto al sonido musical y a la temática, volvieron a los tiempos del Agent Orange.
