Megadeth es una banda de thrash metal estadounidense liderada por su fundador y principal compositor, Dave Mustaine. Fue creada por ése en 1983 luego de que fuera despedido de Metallica. Youthanasia fue editado el 1º de noviembre de 1994, y es el sexto album de estudio de la banda. El título juega con las palabras "youth" (juventud) y "euthanasia" (eutanasia), implicando en ello parte de las ideas socio-políticas de Mustaine. La producción estuvo a cargo de Dave Mustaine y Max Norman.

Megadeth :: Rust In Peace (1990) (Remixed & Remastered - 2004)

El guitarrista Dave Mustaine forma Megadeth en 1983, tras ser expulsado de Metallica por problemas de protagonismo. Elige el nombre de su nuevo grupo en un panfleto político que lee en su viaje de regreso a casa luego de su pelea con James Hetfield.
Según Wikipedia, "Megadeth" es una unidad de medida utilizada por el ejército norteamericano y equivale a un millón de muertes humanas.
"Rust in peace" (1990) es el cuarto album de esta banda exponencial del thrash metal. Muchos consideran que es el mejor. Sus letras son sobre la guerra, la destrucción, el gobierno, y eso queda claro ya desde la portada, donde aparecen retratados varios personajes nefastos de la política.
Se espera para Marzo de 2007 la salida de su nuevo álbum: "United Abominations" y del dvd "That one night: Live in Argentina". Ya falta menos, así que mientras tanto vayan haciéndo click en la tapa de éste. :)

Endgame es el décimo segundo trabajo de estudio de Megadeth. Saldrá a la venta el 15 de Setiembre de 2009 a través de Roadrunner Records. Fue producido por el propio Dave Mustaine y Andy Sneap. Realmente un muy buen trabajo del colorado, con un sonido clásico y grandes composiciones, que obviamente lo recomiendo ampliamente, tanto así que se los dejo en HQ (320 kbps).

Las teorías de una conspiración alienigena inspiraron al señor Mustaine para escribir esta canción. El Hangar 18 se encuentra en el "right-Patterson AFB en Ohio" y se especula que el Alien de Rosweell que en 1947 hizo su aparición esta en este sitio.

La intro de la canción tiene una estructura en Re Menor utilizada por Metallica en "The Call of Ktulu", realizadas a partir del demo "When Hell Freezes Over" escrita en parte por Mustaine mientras el todavia era parte de Metallica.
