Iced Earth :: Overture Of The Wicked EP (2007)

Iced Earth es una banda norteamericana de heavy metal / power metal/ thrash metal. Fue formada en 1984 por el guitarrista y compostitor Jon Schaffer. Su EP Enter The Realm los llevó a firmar con Century Media, sello con el que editaron su album debut Iced Earth en 1991.
Overture Of The Wicked EP será editado el 4 de junio de 2007 en Europa y el 5 en Estados Unidos. Este EP presenta el nuevo single de la banda "Ten Thousand Strong" así como una re-grabación de la trilogía "Something Wicked" perteneciente al album Something Wicked This Way Comes (1998). Fue producido por Jim Morris y Jon Schaffer.

Line Up: Jon Schaffer (guitarra rítmica, bajo, coros), Tim Owens (voz), Tim Mills (guitarra) y Brent Smedley (batería).

Framing Armageddon es el noveno album de estudio de Iced Earth. Fue editado el 11 de Setiembre de 2007 bajo SPV. Es el primero de dos album conceptuales basados en el quinto album de la banda Something Wicked This Way Comes. El lanzamiento de la segunda parte fue anunciada por Jon Schaffer para principios de 2008.
